I created these pieces for my watercolor class. I really enjoyed learning how to mix colors and gain a bright color palette from watercolor. The first image is of a parrot, in which I tried to understand depth and value in shading with watercolor. The second image is of an elephant. Here I learned how to leave white space and work with texture. The third image consists of three separate elements, representing the city of San Francisco. I created a sort of play on a triptic so that I could incorporate several different images. The building is the Palace of Fine Arts; The bridge is the Golden Gate Bridge; And the final piece is of graffiti.
